Very, very entertaining
I picked this up for family game nights and it's been an absolute hit. The concept is straightforward - you draw three cards (a verb, a descriptor, and a thing), flip the timer, and frantically sketch whilst everyone shouts out guesses. We ended up with some properly ridiculous combinations that had us all laughing. The worse you are at drawing, the funnier it gets, which is perfect because artistic talent definitely isn't required here.Everything feels well made. The dry-wipe boards and pens work well and wipe clean easily, and the components pack down into a compact box that's easy to store or take on holiday. With 120 cards split across three decks, there are loads of possible combinations, so it doesn't feel too repetitive. The rules suggest playing to 25 points, but we've often carried on longer simply because we were having fun. Great value for a game that creates proper belly laughs and keeps everyone engaged.
*** Guess That Doodle - Hilarious Drawing Party Game | Fun for Family & Friends | 2-12 Players, Ages 8+ | Perfect for Kids, Teens, Adults ***This is a fun little reimagining of an old classic. The game comes with three separate decks, one with Verbs/Actions on, one with Descriptors on, and one with Things on. So you might get 'Playing the Guitar', 'Sad', and 'Cow', like in my attached picture. In which case you need to draw a Sad Cow Playing the Guitar. A simple but effective way of making some strange scenarios and some funny guesses from the other players. The game comes with a rule book explaining a few ways to play (such as two teams competing, a co-op version, etc) and there is a QR code you can scan which takes you to a website with a spin wheel that you can optionally use to provide an added challenge (such as drawing with your non-dominant hand).Because the game has three decks, it creates a huge plethora of possible combinations you can have to draw which makes the replayability of this game sky high. The two drawing pads are also wipe clean white board style cards too, which makes it really easy to wipe them clean after each go and lets you reuse them forever, basically.Everything packs down into a small box so you can easily take this with you on your travels or holidays too, or just to a friends house. The rules set out how you score points and how you win, but you can always change it up a little if you want to play shorter games or longer games. All in all, this is a great game that comes with everything you need to get started and have lots of fun.
We are very much a board game household and this one went down an absolute storm. The louder, more ridiculous, and more competitive a game is, the better it tends to land here, and Guess That Doodle ticks every single box.The premise is brilliantly simple. Draw three cards, flip the timer, and start doodling. No words. No actions. Just pure panic drawing while everyone else shouts increasingly unhelpful guesses. Hearing a 10 year old and a 16 year old passionately argue over whether something “counts as a foot” is honestly comedy gold. We ended up playing Mum and Dad versus the kids, although most of the time the kids were too busy arguing with each other to notice who they were meant to be competing against. The rules say first team to 25 points wins, but we were having so much fun that we carried on to 50 without even questioning it. It’s fast paced, silly, and keeps everyone engaged because even if you’re not drawing, the guessing is just as entertaining. You absolutely do not need any artistic skill at all. In fact, the worse the drawing, the funnier the round becomes. The components are really well thought out. The dry wipe boards and pens are sturdy, easy to clean, and feel like they’ll last a long time. The sand timer adds just the right amount of pressure, and the three separate decks mean the combinations feel endless. There’s also a QR code on the back of the box that adds extra challenges if you want to make it harder, but honestly, we were struggling enough without adding that into the mix. This is one of those games that works effortlessly across ages. Our 10 year old, 16 year old, and both adults were equally invested and laughing just as hard. It packs away neatly, doesn’t take up loads of space, and would be perfect for holidays, family gatherings, or game nights when you want something lighthearted and loud.If you’re after a game that creates genuine belly laughs, playful chaos, and memorable family moments, this is an absolute winner. We’ll be bringing this out again and again.
This set contains 3 piles of cards, 2 whiteboards, 2 pens an egg timer and instructions, all within a box that looks presentable enough for gifting. The game is quite straightforward - pick a trio of cards out and draw a composite single doodle for the guessers to figure out. There is a time limit too which adds a fun element. It's definitely suitable for all ages and was quite enjoyable. There are additional play options if you want to go to Worgan Games' website and use their spinner to select new challenges e.g. eyes closed or swap hands if you are finding the game too easy! The whiteboards could be bigger but I like that the game is easy to put away and store in its box which is a fair trade off. Right now this is Worgan Games' most expensive game at £16.99 but I think the price is appropriate given that you can play a number of times. It does get easier to guess the cards the more often you play simply from being familiar with what words are available so I would only pick this up with good gaps in between each game.
